Moving thoughts Firefly, thanks for sharing, even in the midst of your pain… truly, the further I venture in this life, the more I’m realizing that His purpose is to create in us His likeness, holiness, rather than our own happiness… thus, we will find Joy in the morning. And I also find myself longing for His return more. and. more.

I too am new to BFS and was touched by your entry. One of my dearest friends is loosing her mom to cancer right now & is far away from home. She lost her father many years ago also to cancer and is grieving much these days.
Know that you are not alone and are being prayed for along with your family.
