I love CuddleDuds in the wintertime…so light and so warm!
I am 5 foot 7 and vary between an 11 and a 12 in shoes. It’s nice to know that there are others like me out there.
My TT was posted on Thursday but I’m surfing around, looking at BloggerFriend School stuff now too.

Alison – I have to admit that it is difficult for me to find dresses that I find to be both well-made and modest nowadays. I have some links over in my “homemaking” section in the right side column, though, that might give you some ideas.
Eddie Bauer usually has nice jumpers and The Vermont Country Store has nice, thick tights and warm underthings. To be honest, I buy most of my dresses from eBay or from the Goodwill store.
I have started sewing dresses for myself. I actually have one nearly finished. It just needs to be hemmed.
I usually prefer jumpers or dresses that are somewhat high-waisted and I like dress that have tie-backs. I don’t like dresses that button-up the front from the bottom because they tend to gap or lose buttons. I fix this by sewing them carefully up along the outer side of material. Right up the sewn line that is already there. I don’t mind buttons just down the bodice of the dress, though. I also don’t like dresses with slits. You could sew them up, too, but then you wouldn’t be able to walk!

i love to wear dresses, which most people see as uncomfortable, although i haven’t (yet) gone to dresses exclusively. where do you buy yours – or do you make them? and what styles do you prefer?

A lot of people I know who were raised Catholic are no longer Catholics. Boy, is it reassuring to me to hear that your husband was the first man who knew how to say “no” to you. The man I recently began dating also fits that category. I saw that as a red flag, but have since come to not only respect it, but appreciate it.

I love your graphics and so many of the things that are "you." Especially old books. I got my P & T at Ohio State writing about old books. There are so many fabulous courses to take; that's one of my few regrets that I didn't pursue. This is a very interesting list. I'll be back to check out your links.
