I too would have loved to live next door to a library. We did live within walking distance and I spent many happy hours at the library.
You are ahead of me on Northanger Abbey. I decided to read the Bemelmans book first. It is an easy read but not quick. I have a hard time reading little short stories the same as I do a book. I think I will go get Austen as my before bed reading.

Hi Firefly, I forgot to mention that the sound track list will be not the next TT, but on December 14 because I am having an outpatient procedure on the 6th on my right arm.
I will definitely do it on the 14 th though.

Sounds like a great list. I wish that I lived next to the library. My parents would buy me a stack of books when we went on vacation. I usually had them finished by the time we returned! Great list! Happy Holidays! Happy TT!

That’s a great list! I love #1, that sounds like a very sweet memory. :O)
Here is a weird idea I came up with for the next 13, I am going to list 13 songs I would want as a soundtrack for the movie of my life. Want to try it with me?

Your hubby is sweet. We should ask our husbands to write 13 things about us, I think. Maybe you could do that next week!
I think it’s neat that you thought trees made the wind. I can see that, visually, through a pair of young eyes. So sweet.

My grandmother read to us when we were little. She had about 6 big books that had a ton of stories in each book. Everytime we’d stay the night she’d pile into the bed between my sister and I and read to us. I was thinking about this the other day.. It made her the most wonderful person in the world to me..

A cute TT! I would have loved to live next door to a library too. As it is, we go to one weekly and another almost as much…but we drive.
I remember the boys at school playing such a game, except we called it kickball, like baseball but kicking the ball..of course.
