Just a Little While

February 2, 1939 – January 29, 2007

I wanted to let everyone know that my mother passed from this world to be with her Father in heaven yesterday morning. I thank all of you who wrote to say you were praying for her and for those who didn’t write, but were praying anyway. Please pray for my family as we will be taking what looks to be a rather long drive in bad weather on Thursday. I am going to be taking a little break from blogging over the next week or two as the girls and I will be spending that time with my father. Please keep him in your prayers as he was my mother’s sole caretaker and his life completely revolved around tending to her needs. He is lost without her there to focus his attentions on. I will be back, dear friends. God bless you all.

A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
John 16:16

  10. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. What a beautiful lady. I will be praying for you and yours. I lost my daddy the fall of 2000 and I still think of him daily and often cry – I miss him greatly, but know he is in good hands.
Thank you for visiting my site. You have such a pretty site and beautiful family. We have a little Boston Terrier too! Peanut will be 10 yrs. old soon. I grew up with Bostons and love them.
Please visit often and I will do the same.

  12. God always amazes me so much. I randomly popped into your blog to pray for you as per the BFS assignment, of course God knew ahead of time that it was your blog I needed to see, and you I needed to pray for. You are in my thought and prayers and on my heart.

  13. Thank you all for your kind comments, sweet prayers and encouragement. I am home now with the girls and will be back to blogging soon. God bless you all for taking the time to type in a few words of comfort for me. My mother was suffering so, though, and I am continually comforted in knowing she is finally at peace with our Father in heaven and waiting for me to join her there. God bless you all.
